Boost Your Sales Stack #1: New Sales Tools

1. Terrakotta: AI Phone for Mass Outreach

Terrakotta is a web-phone application that uses AI to streamline sales calls. It claims to enhance lead engagement by creating and delivering personalized voicemails. While I haven’t fully tested it yet, it seems like a promising tool for injecting a personal element into sales without entirely depending on AI from start to finish.

One of its features is a hands-free dialer, allowing users to automate the dialing process and focus more on the conversation. Additionally, Terrakotta offers AI-powered insights to help target the right leads and tailor outreach strategies for better results. However, it’s still in its early stages and lacks integrations with CRM tools; contacts need to be uploaded via a spreadsheet.

2. Air AI: Voice AI for Sales Calls

Air claims to be the first AI capable of holding extended phone conversations that sound completely human-like(potentially leading the way ahead of Terrakotta?). It says it has an extensive memory, flawless recall, and can operate across thousands of applications independently. While it’s a bold claim, nothing seems unrealistic these days considering the progress of AI.

In an interesting move, Air recently announced its intention to share its compliance framework openly. This means other conversational AI companies can use it. Meanwhile, you can try out Terrakotta’s features for free by signing up.

3. Synthmind: AI Assistant

SynthMind AI provides a chat-based platform where users can interact with AI-driven agents, each equipped with specialized skills. They recently added a lead finder tool to their offerings.

Chat-based agents have been in the spotlight recently, with the launch of Devin. One question I had while using this tool was whether chat is the most effective interface for searching a lead database. However, the results are fine. I tested it by providing five e-commerce companies with under 250 employees, likely in need of web development services. It returned information on around 50 companies with relevant contacts. However, it seems like it cannot currently search for sales triggers such as recent hiring activity, which could be valuable for identifying buyer intent. You can try it out for free.

4. Hustle: CRM Updates via Whatsapp/Slack

Hustle enables users to streamline their workflow by updating their CRM directly from WhatsApp and Slack, removing the hassle of switching between multiple platforms. While WhatsApp has gained popularity in workplaces across many countries, there aren’t many effective tools available to seamlessly integrate it with a CRM.

The platform supports both text and voice messages and integrates with HubSpot. It also allows users to perform multiple actions simultaneously, such as bulk updates and bulk commands, all within a single message. Access is via Demo.
